As part of our commitment to the local
community, we have written and implemented a Green
Transport Policy for the Nursery and its users.
Local buses to Hounslow, Twickenham,
Richmond and beyond run approximately every 8 – 13
minutes, while trains between Waterloo and Windsor and
Eaton, and between Waterloo and Hounslow, are between 4
and 8 per hour, depending upon the time of day.
Parents who live close to each other and
who can either share transport or walk each others
children to and from the Nursery can be put in touch –
an action which can also result in friendships for those
whose busy working lives mean that they have limited
time to meet other families!
Families who have no alternative but to
use their own car to travel to Nursery should utilise
our parking passes, which allow you up to 20 minutes
free parking at present, in the Library Car Park just
around the corner. A pass for the car park is issued
annually to every family; should you need more, please
ask for them.
All of our tin, glass, paper and food
waste is sent for recycling. This waste is collected
weekly by Richmond-upon-Thames Council and the
collectors are happy to talk to small groups of our
children about what happens to it.
For further details, please read our
full Policy which is in our Prospectus
